Thanks for the comments. It's good to know it's not just me.

Jeff: To be honest, I find it tricky when it comes to D-tuning and capos. I'll have to get a firmer grip of it myself before I try to teach it.

I totally agree with your review. I found the tab completely confusing so I ended up just trying to copy what he was doing by ear. I would have also liked a little demo on how he strums like he does with a thumb pick on. Overall though, very inspirational.

I have also loved Bob Brozman's You-Tube video's. He plays a 27-string Eastern Indian "lap guitar"-ish instrument in a great video. He's got a presence about him. I had this video and eBayed it because of the D-tuning and advanced nature. It was a good watch and inspiration though. Hopefully Bob will wow us with another in C-tuning or have a section on capo-ing our C instruments to D tuning. Or perhaps the illustrious and industrious moderator would like to take on that challenge. Since many of Jim Beloff's (Flea Market Music) books also have several D-tuned songs in each. (I know I can play the named chords -- but trying the capo would be a new trick for me since I am new to fretted instruments)
