I took the chords for Fancy Pants from Jonathan Coulton's site, transposed it to the Sweetafton key and came up with this. Hopefully, you can work it out from there. I've been meaning to do MyHope for ages now.

I taught myself how to play and Ive only been playing for a couple months now. i picked it up really fast and one day snooping around the net for tabs and such i found this and Sweetafton23’s other videos and i was just totally amazed and i hope that somday i can be as awsome as her (if its possible) and i can do this version kinda well but im confused on the strumming patterns. and also if anybody knows the chords she used for the Mr. fancypants song and her own My Hope song it would make my day and week and year! somday implanning on getting a webcam and maybe posting some of my own ukeness (once im better) … im actually working on a jingle for a project in home&carreers about banana bread – yeah i know but a songs a song even if its about banana bread…

well thats that and if anybody has any tips for me i would apreciate it a ton

I’ve been trying to play this in F for the last while (I bumped everything one half step up from Coulton’s guitar tab) – most of the chord changes are fairly straightforward that way.
F-A-D7
Gm-C7
etc…
However, the “nifty little bit” that you posted (which has always been eluding me in Sweetafton’s version) is a bit trickier. I think it is
F – F – F9 – F7+9 – F9
or
2010 – 2010 – 2333 – 2343 – 2333

If anyone has an easier way to get that same Sweetafton effect in F without making my fingers fall off, please post it!

I certainly voted for her! Your transcription is definitely better than the version I play, which is transposed into D. The G#dim is nice.

Two extra possibilities; adding a C#7 after the E7 in the fourth line in each verse (”…choose to go” etc) makes it sound better, I think. And the chorus before the middle 8 could use an E7 at the end to help that transition from the nifty tabbing into the F. That’s how Coulton does it anyway, and it works for me.
