Josh: The original is just one strum for each chord. But you could just go with up and down eight times for each chord.

Apparently when Lightspeed was on ‘Soccer AM’ he said that the video to this was done in one take in London with a reheasal the day before. The actual one was filmed at some daft time like 4am to get the light and the near empty streets!
