1) There are a load of tunes from the same game (a whole page of midis of them here. The tune is done in a Hawaiian style. So you might like to check out some Hawaiian music. 2) I think that's a pretty safe bet. Check your inbox ;)

But… I have developed a love for this song.

1) Are there any other songs you recommend like it

2)What is the sound tat crops up every repeat, is it chocobo sqwawking?

I would love a wav of it and have been searching the internet but no such luck.

One of my fave uke tunes, tho’ I never played the game.

I’m working on the transcription to the theme music from the game “Diablo,” another great one. It’s as good as “Zelda…” I’ll let ya know how it goes.

I've had a quick go at Sight of Spira and To Zanarkand and put them in the rag bag. Neither are complete (or anywhere near it), but hope you enjoy them all the same. I might do them out in full some time.
