I love this, such a great song for the uke. I think that the G5 in the verse sounds better played as 0235 rather than 023X, though.

Oh, also, to amend Nathan's suggestion a little. In addition to throwing in a Dsus2, right before moving to the C it sounds right to throw in a 2250.

Thanks again. This is great.

Thanks so much for this. Since buying my first uke last week i was hoping to be able to play this on it. So I've been playing around with this today. I have a few suggestions, but I'll just post one now, since I'm not sure the rest will remain.

On the first instrumental part, you have G D Dsus4 C. I like Nathan's suggestion, but I prefer to throw in this G (I don't know it's name) 0235 instead of the 0230. I think that G should go in the verses to instead of the 023x

Most importantly, I think it sound much much better to replace that C with a descent from 0007 to 0005 to 0003 to 0002. It might sound good to throw in some notes in those open strings, but I haven't fooled around with that with any success.

Dante: I think you're right. I always use lyrics from the net. If I worked them out they'd be even worse.

I believe the final lyric should be "throw down my ace in the hole"
Thanks for the tabs!
