parrskool: I can highly recommend the Ashbury Concert Koa (although it's slightly above your price range). It's my favourite general use ukulele. Easy to play, sounds good, well put together. I have a Fluke as well, but I much prefer the Ashbury.

What a useful site !
Can you help with my quest ?
I am looking to buy (in the UK) a decent Concert Uke. Price rangs £75 to £120.

I have had a look at what’s on the UK web (Mahalo to Kala) ….. I am intrigued by the “Fluke”. What would you suggest ??

Mahalo a nui loa for this!!! I purchased my very first ‘ukulele last month and am very, VERY excited to start learning some things. This beginner’s guide will be invaluable, I’m sure. :o)

Alistair – Brilliant, again! Thought I was past the beginner phase but I still learned things from this little eBook!

PS – I thought Vista was rubbish too until I bought a computer built for it with 2GB of ram – now I wouldn’t go back. Said the same crappy things about XP years ago….
