i’d love to be as skilled at repairing intruments as jake is but get the feeling i’d destroy a lot of instruments in the process

Great interview, it was really interesting to hear about Jake’s connection with nature – I really felt that came through in his music before reading this interview. I’ll be very interested to hear the album about trees and bushes, it sounds like a novel concept.

Holy Moses! I haven’t written that many songs altogether.

For the Snake Suspenderz new CD I wrote or co-wrote about a half-dozen over a one-month period and that was probably the most I’ve written in that short of time ever.

I bow to the real songwriters, like Jake, out there!
