I tried using these chords, but they just didn't sound like the same same chords Christopher uses. I tuned my strings using the standard GCEA tuning. Do I need to tune my Ike differently or use a capo?

Erin,

I do not know any easier way than what woodshed has stated. It's so easy. Just do down, down, up, up, down, up on each chord.

Okay so I'm new to the ukulele. I figured I should start with Trouble because the strumming and chords seemed easy when listening to the song, but once it gets to the chorus I'm completely stumped. Is there any way you could simplify the strumming a bit? I'm completely lost with the d du udu thing, lol. I'm trying to teach myself so bear with me please!

Edward: The chord shapes are two frets up from those in the pdf. So it's mostly C - F - G. But he's tuned down a fret so it sounds as B - E - F#.
