We believe "Life's a Game " is from an acetate recorded in 1927 and documents the time Bester was mugged in a pub "somewhere near Leeds"-which serves a Lancashire Laddie right for daliances across the border. "Florrie in Flagrante"-casts aspertions on his good lady wife's fidelity -for which there is very little evidence.It is probably another example of Bester's vicious humour.
