		<description>Tahitian ukes are often strung with wire. The tradition started when the Tahitians knocked the heads off of the missionaries, tore the teeth out and then rolled any fillings they found into fine wire, all with their bare hands.

I like the sound of the Tahitian ukes and their music. Hell, I&#039;d probably like the sounds of the little electric guitar in skilled hands, but those things just don&#039;t sound like ukes to me.</description>
