i’ve played many an acoustic bass with an off centre soundhole and they tend to be louder, other than that no real difference.
i still think travel ukes are the pinacle of unnessacary

The Ohana CK-65D is ‘a bit of a strange beast.’ As well as the off-centre soundhole, it has a fretboard that is a mixture of rosewood and maple.

that seems like a very good assessment Al….interesting….

thanks for sharing….loved the banjo uke, but after having one for almost a year now….i’m still not sure how i feel about them…..fun to record with…..but very clunky and loud (at least with my meat hooks) ha ha
