todd: Jeff finds the best uke photos. He once conned people into believing <a rel="nofollow" href="http://humbleuker.blogspot.com/2008/08/alistair-hunt-ukulele-hunt-england.html" rel="nofollow">this</a> was a picture of me.

pam: They didn't tell you? I noticed they didn't bother linking to you either. But don't get me started on the mainstream media.

Terry: I don't see pronunciation as being something that can be 'correct' or 'incorrect'. Probably as a reaction against teachers having a bash at some of my Yorkshirisms back in school. Thanks for the kind words.

Aloha, Al
I got 16/20 on the ukulele quiz also, too. Yes, ukulele is to be pronounced. "OO-koo-leh-leh" The third and fourth syllable has a SHORT "eh" sound in there. The third syllable is not emphasized, as the "correct" answer is NOT shown on the quiz.

A really appreciate all the work you put into the Uke Hunt newsletter. This was another great one.

By the way, Al, You are an good advanced uke player, and your a professional on arrangements, and you have an excellent pro ear. I don't think I've met too many uke players that did not want to get better. Playing the ukulele is like love, you always want it to get better.

Keep Singing, Strumming and Smiling,
