Priceless. I suggest we all wave a movable American cord to the critics.

These are some of the most useful vids you've shared here. It's clear now why I've got a bit of tendinitis - As a Yank, I've been using the British movable chord rather than the one I should have been! Regardless of that, I was happy to find out that my swallow sticker and pink ribbons make me an authentic uke player!! Thank you!!

"Maybe if he weren’t trying to not wake the sleepers in the room with him"
I can help you with this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITGMtOgXVuE

But I don't think i can help with your sense of humor...sorry

"filmed in the dead of winter by the light of a single candle"
If I could afford another candle, I'd use it....donations gladly accepted.

'I’m not a big fan of authenticity. Many of my favourite acts are putting on an act in one way or another.'

ha ha....isn't that life? I hear you....

isn't that like that speech student who told his professor (a master speaker himself), "I want to be original or nothing?"

the professor heard him speak and said, "I heard him....he was both..."

cheers,

Todd

Rich: Apology accepted. (I don't understand why some people feel the need to apologise for disagreeing - often repeatedly) Sound quality and lighting seem like peripheral concerns to me.

Sorry, but these seemed to be filmed in the dead of winter by the light of a single candle, JC mumbles his way through what he thinks are lessons. Maybe if he weren't trying to not wake the sleepers in the room with him he might speak loud enough to be heard.

So let's recap: couldn't see the video, and couldn't hear the words.

I didn't find these terribly useful. Sorry JC.
