cbf: Agreed, Hagar was lame. But a better singer than DLR.

Boughter: Probably shouldn't admit it, but there's a lot I like about La Vida Loca.

Todd: Never heard of that one. Checking it out on YouTube right now... Pretty damn awesome!

Andy: PoP is nearly as bad.

Iain: Congrats! First place to you.

Gwyn & Readie: It was one of Roxette's better outings. But on The Look. The first 5 seconds of that are brilliant.

John: That's positively cool now.

Lonna: I won't have a word said against the Lep'

QAsRevenge: That's a fantastic album.

Andy: Very lucky.

Mike: I snuck Final Countdown through as a guitar riff. It's <a href="http://ukulelehunt.com/2007/11/23/guitar-riffs-for-ukulele-17-europe-final-countdown/" rel="nofollow">up here</a>.

First Single : Cool for Cats - Squeeze
Second Single : Christmas in Smurfland. Father Abraham and the Smurfs.
Fortunately you only get judged on first single.

Usually I respond with Don McLean's American Pie when asked this question, the song so long it continued on the flip side, which was among the first singles I ever bought. But the first single I ever bought was A Horse with No Name, by America, purchased at Woolworths, E 204th St., Bronx, NY, 1972. Still no idea what it's all about.

First album I bought with my own money was Deep Purple's Machine Head. I'd say most embarrassing was Foreigner's Double Vision, though I was able to trade it to a friend for Cheap Trick's Live At Budokan.

I had a lot of records and eight tracks (now who feels old?) around from the start.

But, the first record I bought with my own money was Like a Virgin. One of the more embarrassing cassette tapes I ever owned was Def Leppard. I had the hair to match, so I was pretty much screwed as far as being cool goes.

Gwyn - no need to be embarrassed by "Dressed for Success". It's a classic. It was shaping you up for the big time baby!
