Thank you for the quick reply!! If you’ve not yet seen these links, you might enjoy them and both have great, clear recordings of entire concerts, including “Shepherds Song”. First one is just audio tracks, the 2nd is video and it is FANTASTIC!

I was wondering if by chance, you may have worked out the chords for Katzenjammer’s other ukulele based tune, “Shepherds Song”? If so, any help figuring them out would be greatly appreciated!

My girlfriend was the one who introduced me to Katzenjammer, and when we were looking through songs I should learn on Ukehunt, we discovered this one. And so now, I plan to learn it, so I can play it for her on her birthday! YAY! Cherry Pie! … Maybe she’ll make me some for my effort? :D

Hello there,

Please can you put the entire songtext online? Im so curious about some things I cant understand…like ” good twisting…..laley? When you add the yolk of an egg?” and then the bridge-part, I cant understand that also very well. I love the song and would really like to sing along with it!
