So when the heck is Janet Klein going to publish some chord books to accompany her albums? I know Ian has a few out, but Janet’s albums would make a great translation into print for fans of this type of music who would like to try their hand at the uke.

I’m glad str8wire pointed that out. I thought I was going to have to dig out the tatty old cape and tights and make another appearance as Captain Pedant.

Scope out Boots Randolph. Yakety Sax was the only hit I can think of under his name, but he played for years and years with many of the greats.

Interesting how it’s now joined The Entertainer as being more remembered as a theme song from a movie/tv show than under its own name.

be playing the Cicada Club this coming Sunday (Oct. 4). First

Jimmy: I prefer the ‘Uke Hunt’ version. Shouting ‘Uke Hunt’ is much more pleasurable. A victory of art over commerce.
