@Al : I quite liked the Galaxy Fluke Design by UKDad.

Chipswow definitely sounds completely different when she is speaking French !

@Todd : glad you've enjoyed the interview. I giggled too when I received Al's answers :)

zym: Oh well, at least I've been on Radio 4. I was hoping Eddie Mair might say 'Uke Hunt'.

Nick: Excellent album. And free!

todd: I really, really do want to kick him in the crotch.

Ron: I thought Max the Ukulele Punk would win for sure. Partly because he'd be so entertaining on the Safari.

So, just how do you represent the sound of a ukulele strum in words?
The subtitles for Jake's interview show that the French
do so as "Dzinnnnnnnnnnnng," and "Bloiiiinnnnggg." Couldn't have said it better if I tried.

The ultimate Safari winner was my third choice, behind Tim Sweeney's entry & my first choice, Alexander's Lullaby, from
Germany. I thought the song itself (very good) was better than
the video presentation, but that's just nitpicking about a very deserving winner.

Designing for Flukes & Fleas is a tricky thing. Should the design make visual sense when the instrument is standing on end or when it's being played? The designs that I've seen usually do one or the other, i.e. the Tiki Flea looks like a tiki when the instrument is standing on end, but looks much less impressive when it's being played & the tiki is sideways.
