Just got a Riptide Tenor. This is a toy. Not a serious instrument. The tone is annoyingly shrill. Will try other strings, but not hopeful this will ever be a nice sounding instrument. Buyer beware.

They should mount a little mirror next to the top soundhole on the Riptide so I can watch myself playing too.

That pono really is quite hideous. The tuners on it look just like mahalo used to put on their ukes too, i.e. they’re shit.
