Verse -
G C Em, G C Em, D C Em, D C G. Repeats

You're sailing section;
G D Em C, G D Em C.

I see I see you are section;
Em, D, G, C, Em, D, G, C Em, D, G, C, Em, D

(I sometimes play around with these when live, but that's the basic chord sequence as in the recording. The instrumental at the end is the same chords as the verse)

Lyrics

You go; I will be behind you.
And Dark Clouds never seem to find you
And a day in Peckham Rye when the skies are blue
We could take the number 9 fly to timbuck too.

Downfall it is barely raining
And God knows I am not complaining
And I’ve got my brand new shoes with the leather
toes,
And I’ve got nothing to loose so I’ll stand and Pose 2, 3, 4 -

- 4 Freefall, falling must be pleasing
And I fall; only I’m not speeding.
At a hundred miles per hour, on this splendid route
I could give you all you want, for a parachute.

You’re sailing through a muddy lake
You say you’ve never swum before, take a deep breath you’re going over board.
You’re swimming through a brown milkshake
I tell you time to drink it all, but no you’re on a diet be responsible.

I see, I see you are, you’ve lost some weight that’s clear to see
I see, I see you are, you’ve lost some weight that’s clear to me
I see, I see you are, you’ve lost some weight that’s clear to see
I see, I see you are, you’ve lost some weight and -

- Repeats -

-------------------------------------------------
Please allow for any mistakes; I'm currently sitting at my desk at work.

The lyrics refer to an event in my life when I was studying at Camberwell.

Thanks, Matt

Hey Guys, just been browsing google to find out what time we're playing on Thursday (That's how organised I am!) and I discovered this blog!

Cheers very much for the kind words on the video and track. We're a new little band who only formed in July last year and currently don't have much material on the net.

We are however in the studio writing and recording for the next few months and although it's not the only weapon in our arsenal, the Ukulele will feature heavily in a few more pieces I'm currently writing.

It's such a diverse and bright instrument; I fell in love with it as soon as I bought it in my lunch break last autumn (Wrote You-GO 3 days later using the 1st four chords I learnt)

As for Dan's pants mictoboy -- We keep telling him the same thing! I think a pair of braces for his birthday may be in order!

Thanks again!

Matt
