Jupiter Creek Ukuleles
Jupiter Creek ukuleles are made in Australia by Rob Dick. They are usually electric ukuleles and look very much like tiny guitars (he also makes electric guitars and mandolins).
His website is well worth taking a look at, particularly the section on the Australian timbers he uses.
There's an extensive review of a Jupiter Creek ukulele here. It's generally a good review, but there's one point worth noting: "While the ukulele looks great from a few feet away, closer inspection reveals that it has some finish flaws. To his credit, Rob is very upfront about the fact that his fit and finish is not up to the same level as some of the other custom instrument makers. However, neither are his prices."
Technically, this is a Jupiter Creek electric mandolin, but it has four strings - so I say it's a ukulele.
