Well, not much to say… This is probably my favorite piece of all time (on any instrument). I’ve never heard it on ukulele and I’ll probably never be able to play it, but I tabbed it out nonetheless.
Now hear this: The gauntlet has been thrown down virtuoso ukulele players, show yourselves!
Jack Johnson – Mudfootball (Chords)
Now, the fingerplay between the 2. And the 3. Verse is something that I had to rewrite from a guitar-chord. There’s several ways to get the rhythm using the ukulele fretboard (of course) but this is the one I found the most to my liking. I tried turning it around also so that the C-string would be playing the lower notes and the A-string the ones longer up the fretboard but it didn’t quite sound as good although the outcome was the same. I wanted to move it longer down the fretboard as well to get a deeper sound but the problem is that that way you can’t do the stair G\D, E\H which is needed.
