T’s Ukulele
T’s Guitars are a Japanese firm run by Shinji Takahashi that began producing instruments in 1985. The started producing ukuleles in 1998 and now have a range of six standard instruments (the also make a number of other ukuleles) including a sopranino, a MiniTenor (halfway between a concert and a tenor) and a solid electric ukulele. Was lucky enough to get one of these Custom T’s TMS 220pf tenor ukuleles. It is a work of art with wonderful tone and craftsmanship. She plays well, with soft yet warm highs and lows. I’d rate this 5 star all the way down the board. WONDERFUL!! Feel so honored to have one. Next time in Japan, will go visit the factory.
