This is a beautiful looking and sounding ukulele. A lot of cheaper ukes don’t respond too well on the higher frets and the string action can be dull, but not this one. The sound is rich and lively all the way up and down the fretboard. No problem with it staying tuned at all. Even though it’s a laminate the instrument has a high quality look. Several musicians play this uke on youtube. Check it out. The price is right and the quality is impressive. You won’t regret buying this uke!

I got a second/refurb of this model on eBay for $100, so I can’t complain at all about value for the price. When I first got it there was some string buzz around the upper frets. It appeared that the neck was slightly angled a bit too far back. Raising the saddle a bit fixed that.

This uke has a nice tone and looks great. Fit and finish are fairly good, but a bit more attention could have been paid to the fretwork. The tuners work well. Even at full price, I think this would be a good step up from an entry level uke. Koa has a wonderful tone.
