Bless the Broken Road was originally recorded by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. But became a big hit for Rascal Flatts when they covered it. I discovered the song through RMR’s incongruous reworking of it. My arrangement is based on the Rascal Flatts version. Although I was singing the RMR version in my head.
The song has a beautiful melody that fits nicely on the uke. The chord changes come fast, but they’re all simple chords. The intro/outro and the solo are the trickiest parts. But I’ve tried to keep those as playable as possible. You can always lay out on the solo if you want to show off.
