In Hawaiian, Ana’ole means, “unsurpassed, immeasurable, incomparable.” With a name like that, head Ana’ole man, Gareth Yahiku was obviously setting a high standard for his ukuleles and has followed that through by making high quality (and high priced) instruments. All their ukes are made in Hawaii.

Ana’ole are famous for their ornate soundholes. Their models feature soundholes in the shape of the Hawaiian islands and what look a whole lot like hemp leaves.
