Brownsville Ukulele
Brownsville ukuleles are priced in the under $100 range. For that, you’ll get a ukulele with a solid top (either mahogany or spruce) and laminated back and sides.
Brownsville Ukulele Review
I have a Brownsville Concert Size ukulele. It was the first ukulele I ever played, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first-timer uke. Not only is it made in Brooklyn (represent), but it’s got a great sound and definitely gives you all the bang for your buck.
It’s a terribly dependable little instrument: I got my ukulele six days before I was supposed to perform in front of hundreds of people (without having ever layed eyes or fingers on an actual uke) and I was able to learn how to play the uke with ease for the performance. When I bought it at Sam Ash, it was $100, which I thought was a great deal. This ukulele won’t let you down, it has brought me countless hours of joy and music. And if you’re anything like me (and I’m nothing extraordinary), you’ll love it.

Hi,
i just brought my brunswick ukulele. The sound is super, hard top, and come with aquila string. Mine is not made in brooklyn, but in china, and the finition is still perfectly made. For 45 pounds, that’s a deal.
