Melokia Ukuleles
Melokia ukuleles are popular in the exploding ukulele scene in Thailand and they’re starting to spread to other countries.
They have a number of solid ukuleles in mahogany and acacia (the same family as koa). They’re made in China so the prices are very reasonable for solid ukes.

I bought the Melokia ukulele for 1 year ago. I love this ukulele, sounds good, and made of solid acacia wood, quality goods great. Good price!! Love it.
Nice solid acacia ukulele. Great quality!
I want to know if the instrument:
Melokia UK32 UK-32 Mahogany Concert Ukulele
is really a concert body or a tenor body? The instrument is called a concert with a scale length of 17″ (which is tenor scale length), which means this instrument is either a super concert (concert with a tenor neck) or it is a tenor ukulele that is called a concert ukulele. The proof would be the size of the body, but I can’t find that listed anywhere although the total length is listed as 25.5″ which sounds more like tenor length. Does anyone know for sure? Thanx from JOE DAN BOYD
I have never played a melokia but it looks identical to my koa pili koko. The head stocks are slightly different. I would bet all dukes that they are made in the same factory.
Looks and sounds like a KPK – very nice
Got something to say?
