With their use of solid wood the Lanikai Flame Maple LFM-T Ukulele is a cut above the ukes commonly associated with Lanikai. The top is solid spruce – a wood which gives a very sharp and immediate tone to the ukulele (more mandolin-like).

Hi – I own the LFM-T and find it a great uke for stage work or hanging round the BBQ. It projects really well and stays well in tune. It is a great all round performer and I would recommend it to everyone. It gets five stars from me in all categories. Take a tip from a fool and don’t buy crap – save up and buy quality – you will not regret it.

Bought mine a few weeks ago, and I’m absolutely in love with it!
It has a softer sound than my Ashton tenor, which I started learning on.
It looks good, it plays better, and it makes me feel better when I play it!
    Money well spent!
    Buy one.

Bought mine just last week. Oiled up the Fretboard and strung it with Nylgut´s, polished it a bit and it looks like new, probably hardly played, if at all.
Sounds just like I imagened it would and wished for.
This one will serve me till dead do us part
