   My first ukulele and i find it great.Obviously not the best one around but a great beginners ukulele and the pineapple effect gives it a higher sound and a more original look.

   Picked up one of these in the store to try out today and fell in love. Considering getting it as my first uke. I’m curious why there isn’t a more detailed review of this, though. Anyone on ukulelehunt got some more info?

   I have been playing one for about four years now and can certainly vouch for its durability and build quality, as it has survived life in a school environment; completely unscathed by many little hands trying it out. My one sounds exactly like the uke being played in the video by Imcure and to my ear always seems slightly out of tune, but that could just be me, or perhaps it is just the sort of sound you should expect at this price range. Judge for yourself, by listening to the video. It does have a nice mellow tone, probably aided by the pineapple shape.
   I have only upgraded to something more expensive fairly recently, which is in itself a testament to the endearing qualities of this model.
