Tangi Ukulele
Tangi are Hawaiian made ukuleles. They make a wide range of ukuleles including some unusual pieces including a 10 1/4 inch playable, koa ukulele and two violin shaped ukuleles (a standard one and the more fancy Kawika model).

Tangi has moved his shop location to another part in Honolulu. He is not a one man show making hand made ukuleles. I recently bought a 2 puka concert. Very durable mahogany and a bit heavy. He has a big collection of ukes and it is worth checking out his web site (it is running again).
I bought a pineapple Tangi 3-4 years ago. I can’t tell you how much I like plying that little pineapple. I sat down tonight and googled Tangi, and was surprised that they come so highly recommended. I think I paid $100.00 for it on ebay and really like it 5- stars for sure! Smitty
