Kala Spruce Ukulele

Kala make a few spruce top ukuleles (including their travel ukulele). I have their Lacewood soparno (which has a spruce top) and really love it. It's a very well made ukulele and the sound is very immediate and forceful. You can read my full Kala Lacewood review here but in a capsule review: buy it.

    I got my Kala _St from MusicGuyMic. Good price, great service, highly recommended.
    The Uke is well made, beautiful and sounds great. Lots of value for a price that doesn’t bust the budget. I recommend it to anyone wanting a uke that soounds good on a budget.

    I just bought a Kala with koa back and spruce top, concert, that I just love. Great sound, great tone, great price. Beautiful.

    I started playing ukulele 2 years ago. For a long time I bought ukes for their looks, for their uniqueness, until one day I got tired and wanted a simple uke, with great sound. This is it. I bought the Solid Spruce Cutaway Tenor Uke with EQ from Kala for 200 bucks on ebay. Absolutely wonderful. It’s loud, elegant, beautiful. For me, this was THE ukulele. I couldn’t ask for more.
