Noah and the Whale – Jealous Kind of Love (Chords)

Noah and the Whale – Jealous Kind of Love (PDF)

This little uke tune cropped up on the B-side to Shape of My Heart. It doesn’t seem to be available any more, but it’s rather lovely and a simple three chord song so I thought I’d write it up. The video cuts off but you can hear the whole thing on their MySpace.

Suggested Strumming Pattern

d – d u – u d –

Twiddly Bits

The uke doubles up the whistling part in the intro and after the choruses.

Thank you so much for this! I love noah and the whale, and i’m not super good at the ukulele yet, so it’s fun to have songs like theirs that I can easily pick up and play.

Hey woodshed I was just wondering if you could do a tab for “west coast” or “any fun ” by Coconut records ,they are not a very well known band but they are really fantastic . It would make my summer holiday if you could do this .
    Thanks :D

Any tips for changing from the C chord to the Bb chord, I am finding it difficult to keep in time while doing so?

  12. Woodshed December 29th, 2012 11:36 am

Carla: If you use your little finger to play the C chord that’ll let you prepare your other fingers for the Bb chord. Hope that helps.
