Man, the New York uke scene is goofy!

…I swear that first Tim Harries cartoon is spooky…that happens to me at least once a week…

I’ve been listening to the Corner Laughers’ Ultraviolet Garden for a couple of
weeks now. My mini-review: Don’t let the tunefulness lull you, as there’s a bite behind the bounce. The musical bounce will keep
you tapping your feet, while the lyrical bite will keep you on your toes, listening, absorbing.

The album includes both of the songs for which they have music
videos out, Inner Archaeologist & Stonewords, as well as some
    nice uke playing, of course.

ukola: It does seem a little. But a lot of excellent people have come through that scene. Michael Wagner, Hailey Wojcik and Jen Kwok leap to mind.

Nick: I’m lucky enough to be unlovable enough for that not to be a problem.

ron: Thanks for the review, I’ll have to check it out.
