Toxicity (Tab)
A very tricky one to get right. It’s in 6/8 time (I think). The best way to count the bar is 1,2,3,2,2,3 (I think). And it’s best to play this one with a pick (that one I’m pretty sure on).
Here’s me definitely getting it wrong:

Well that was really quite awesome. I think i shall have a stab at that soon. Nice work!
Boughter: Thanks. I’ll give the ham-bur-ger technique a try (even if it does make me hungry just saying the word).
mcnilly: Good luck with it!
I count 6/8 as “one-two-three-ONE-two-three”… anyway I love this tune and this is a nice tab.
Buuuuuut… I’m a bit confused as to why it is in the nightmare tabs category. I picked this up on about the 3rd try and I’m not that good a uke player. What confused me even more is the fact that “Sailor’s Hornpipe” is in the Tricky tabs and not nightmare!
Spicemaster Fresh: I have to admit the tags are inconsistently applied. The difficultly is mainly down to how pissed off with trying to play it I was when I tagged them. I just couldn’t get the timing right on this one.
Great tab! I would also agree; I’m not a very good uke player, but I’m picking it up pretty fast (though measures 7 and 8 are tripping m up), but I’m not really worrying about the timing and playing it mostly by ear on what sounds like the song. One thing, how do you damp the A string when playing those chords?
Vatsal;
What I do is either pluck the three strings with my first three fingers or add in an extra note.
So you play the chords as 1346 and 0235. It can be a bit of a stretch for your pinky but it gives the chords a nice full feeling as well.
Great tab, one of my new favourites to play
awsome tab now all i have to do is learn it :P
ryan: Good luck with it.
I think it’s actually in 12/8 if that makes any difference to anyone.
nina: Thanks. That would work.
What are those lines under the 3-2-0-2-0 ?
I wouldn’t even know how to look that up(I tried “how to read tabs”
Dan: Those show the rhythm. There’s a guide to reading tab here.
I always counted 6/8 as “HAM-BUR-GER HAM-BUR-GER” (over enunciate), but that’s a little childish… “One and a 2 and a” works pretty well for me.
