Tenor Neck Flea: Ukulele Window Shopping

Musicguymic has a bunch of Fleas with tenor necks. The proportions on those are going to take a bit of getting used to.

Does anyone know anything about Double Island ukuleles? Other than them seeming to be Australian, the web turned up blank.

Tnor neck Flea. I have never wanted, and will never want any material thing more in my whole life.

As soon as I (if only I could) remember my paypal password I’ll be buying that “America’s Beverage of Moderation” poster. It’ll look good in a frame. Thanks Al.

Dan: And all the BP wannabees.

John: I’m still a long way from convinced about them. They’re a long way down my want list.

    andy: Congrats!

todd: I’m getting drunk right now just because of the poster.

That “Double Island” ukulele, looks a bit like the ones made by SamWill ukulele, a new Chinese manufacturer.

See here for a favorable review of a SamWill pineapple by Ian Chadwick:

Ukulele World sells them too. http://www.ukuleleworld.com/SamWill/

    SamWil’s not-very-helpful website is here:

Hey Al, I think my first comment may have been eaten, but that Double Island ukulele bears a strong resemblance to the “Samwill” ukes I’ve seen mentioned here and there. Ian Chadwick’s website has a review of a pineapple Samwill uke with the same type of detailing as the instrument you linked to.

Dan: Thanks for the info. The comment did survive it’s just comments that have a bunch of links tend to get stashed in the spam folder.

Thanks ! In a rare moment of clarity, I remembered my paypal password and am now the proud owner of that beer/ukulele picture. It looks even better in real life. Cheers.
