Keston Cobblers’ Club, Dominator and Lil Rev: UkeTube

Favourite video this month comes from Keston Cobblers’ Club. There seem to be more cobblers in the club with each new video. Not that I’m complaining. They make a lovely noise.

Also this week Lil’ Rev busting out some of his 101 licks with Dominator, Francesca Belcourt in the snow and Nicholas Abersold with my favourite line of the week.

Gleeks might want to watch this premiere of Matthew Morrison’s single. It’s written by the people who wrote Hey, Soul Sister with Train so take that as a warning before you click the link.

Keston Cobblers’ Club – Shoemaker’s Song

Nicholas Abersold – Those Punk Rock Days

Dominator with Lil’ Rev – Me or Uke Blues

Francesca Belcourt – Old Man Winter.

Emma Davis – William

Peach Fuzz – Rocking the Suburbs

sandtepin – Single Ladies

Winin’ Boy – D&A Ukulele Rag

Rocky and Balls – Murder She Wrote Song

    lots of goodies this week!

I think “Those Punk Rock Days” has to take the best vid award.

meanwhile, Keston Cobblers Club (two! count ’em! TWO tubas) are fighting it out with Peach Fuzz for my overall fave.

todd: Peach Fuzz are fun. And that guy sounds a lot like Ben Folds.

Phredd: I think uke and brass are my favourite combination. Accordions also good.

Herman: Glad you enjoyed. I hope more videos of Emma Davis turn up. I really like that song.

Hobbit and Captain: Glad you both enjoyed the selection.

Vincent: I’m afraid not. There’s no basketball on TV here and I don’t have one anyway.

Gotta love those cobblers, they make my ears happy. I can’t help but feel I wish I was part of a bunch of mates that made fun relaxed music together like that.
All good for the rest too!!
    Cheers! -F

Rocking the Suburbs is creatively outstanding,,,

  13. Woodshed March 12th, 2011 12:29 pm

    Foinnse: Great band.

Jet86 and Art: I think it might be better than the original. Or it would have been if they had included the metal section at the end.

Claudio: She was on that channel before her solo channel.

Kestons: Always a pleasure to feature you.

  14. Nate March 13th, 2011 5:07 am
