why dont the people arguing about the competition join forces and make a soft-corn porn ukulele vid featuring two sheep, a pet calf and a farm dog?

‘like the alarm clock very much!

I love the “How to clean your ukulele” video. I went back to the start and watched the whole thing :)

I’m with Uruti School all the way. The owner of the boobs no doubt is trying to recoup costs, Al, but these kids have made one of my favorite videos of the year, and I hope they learn to never roll over and let people walk all over them.

And to turn right around and dismiss righteous indignation as bad sportsmanship and hate after pulling a stunt like this and ruining the dreams of children is to give the ukulele and all of its players a black eye and a bad name. We’re not all like this, kids, honestly. Don’t throw your ukes away in disgust. Keep at it, you’ll be glad you did.

Take the ukulele too seriously, Zach, and you’ll
end up with a load of insufferable rubbish. Music interesting from a technical viewpoint, perhaps, but rubbish all the same. I call a lot of this sort of thing “ukezak.”

People chuckle at the sight and sound of the ukulele for a reason. Best never to lose sight of this as you delve more deeply into it.

@Woodshed — thanks for the shout-out and for the lovely message from Bandcamp. I appreciate both more than a few pixels worth of type can convey.

@Ron Hale — I am so stealing the term “ukezak.” I know just where to apply it. most excellent neologism. you should get some sort of award. at least 20 internets.

    zym:

Herman: I’m against alarm clocks as a rule but if I had to have one, I’d go with that one.

    3rdbloke: I can’t stand that show!

Ron: I think Boob Lady won fair and square – the rules of the competition were just idiotic and self-serving. Nice work on ‘ukezak’.

Hobbit: You’re very welcome. Loving the EP.

Sam: I think we’ve learned that will get you plenty of extra views.
