The Uke Hunt podcast hits double figures and Bossarocker takes time off from being the saviour of North Manchester FM to bring you a bunch of tracks from familiar acts like Craig Robertson, Uke’s Not Dead and David Leach; and new – to me – names like Jason Johans and Jane Cameron.

You can find links to all the previous episodes here.

Argh, you’ve outted me! Guess I had that coming ;) I’d just like to point out that I inherited that awful website & am currently in the process of designing a better one!

Excellent show! It was the perfect accompaniment to a spot of photo editing tonight.

For the quality of music I reckon this is the most enjoyable to date, although admittedly I haven’t listened to every one.

Not forgetting Al’s debut on his own podcast of course!

  3. Jason Johans August 31st, 2011 9:35 pm

    Bossa: Serves you right.

J-Hob: Very glad you liked it.

Jason: Thanks for very much for your track.

  5. Jane Cameron September 1st, 2011 1:53 am

Thanks for including Superhero, Bossa! :)

  6. Woodshed September 1st, 2011 8:07 am

Jane: Thanks very much for letting us play your track.

Hello. Thank you for including our song. It’s a real honour to be among the other artists included in this episode.

PS: And don’t forget to send your tunes in the right format (we didn’t – really sorry!) – it’s a lot of work for Bossa to put together without her having to convert tracks too. Thank you Bossa for your good work x

Alli: Thanks for letting us use your track.

And, yes, everyone should pay attention to format!

Wow, that Herman Vandecauter blows me away. Sounds like Segovia. And check out that archlute, holy cow! I can imagine one might want to spend a little time with the good old uke after wrestling with that monster for a while!

  10. Joseph Asfoury September 2nd, 2011 7:10 am

I was SO surprised I got on here. I’m listed as “chibbshish” (which is a misspelling of my soundcloud username). I’ve been a fan of this site ever since I got my ukulele over a year ago, and my soundcloud was just a way for me to get my experiments to friends easily. The fact that it’s on the podcast was definitely unexpected.

    Thanks so much!

pepamahina: I want an archlute now! Doubt I’d be able to play it.

Joseph: Sorry about the mistake with the name. I’ve changed it to ‘Joseph Asfoury’. Is that how you want it credited? Excellent track.

  12. Joseph Asfoury September 3rd, 2011 6:53 am

    Yeah, that’s fine. Thanks again.

  13. The Captain September 3rd, 2011 7:54 pm

In a fair and just world this would be the Top 10 (+ one) but … again a great selection, Bossa; keep on the good work.

  14. Woodshed September 4th, 2011 11:40 am

Captain: Thanks! I think so too.
