I had never heard this tune from the visual novel Clannad until I got a request for it. Even though I found it pretty damn irritating I couldn’t get it out of my head and had to work up a version.

It’s been a while since I made it hard on myself and did a full-on campanella version but it suits this tune really well.

I’m not sticking to any strict pattern for the picking hand. It’s mostly either thumb on g and one finger per string. Or thumb covering g and C with index and E and middle on A.

Make sure you let the notes ring into each other as much as possible.

    This is pretty crazy but.. Me and my friends were joking around about a cover of this song (by LilyPichu) and I was just thinking to myself, hey, I should learn this song on the ukulele, I wonder if anyone has it, and then I check my mail and BAM here it is. SO WEIRD. BUT AWESOME. LOL. THANKS. CAPS. :)

    I couldn’t handle too much of the cutsie singing but I do rather like the melody. Thanks [x2] for making a version I may have some small hope of playing.

    Hey, I’m new to the ukulele and I’m loving this site. I see you sometimes do request and I’ve got one for you: Mark Knopfler’s “Quality Shoe.” To my novice ear it feels perfect for the Uke and the kind of song that made me want to pick up the instrument in the first place. I hope you find it worthy of some attention.
