Anyone have tabs for “Get Out And Get Under The Moon?” It doesn’t sound too hard, but I’m terrible at figuring out chords.

Here’s a great audio recording from Frankie Marvin & his Ukulele: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-fdIgUPhv8

What is Hufnagel playing? How is he playing on both sides of the capo? Is he playing GCEA tenor uke?

Jeff – I’m guessing he’s using a cut capo. it’s only holding down one or maybe two strings.

great bunch of videos this time, Woodshed.

    Paul: Thanks for the chords.

Simon: Thanks! Hadn’t seen that one.

Ian: I’ve been thinking of tabbing up Paul’s Dance. Tricky to get the cuatro to work on uke though.

Jeff: I think it’s a spider capo on a baritone. Wouldn’t mind playing around with one of those.

    Hobbit: Glad you liked!

In this case, they were tuned aDF#B (uke) and adf#B (cuatro), the cuatro being low-re-entrant.
I’d love to se you have a go at it in standard tuning. :)

Ian: It’s really tricky. They take advantage of the cuatro’s weirdness so well it’s not very satisfying to transfer it.

Excellent work on the instruments by the way!

Thanks for looking at it Al.
Their second Cuatro should be ready this weekend, so maybe we’ll get a bit more! ;)

    Hey Woodshed,
A little suggestion, would it be possible for you to make youtube playlists for each UkeTube post, so one can just start the playlist and automatically listen to each song? I know it is extra work, so I definitely don’t expect you to do it :)

  14. Woodshed May 25th, 2012 6:56 pm

JimUke: That is a good idea. I have tried it in the past and not gone with it. Might give it another go.

Some of you guys know the same chord progression the ukulele is playing on this Hillsong NYC – With Everything video? Link: http://youtu.be/GRUwyG8dRXY

I found out, the ukulele is tuned down a half step playing a F Am C G chord progression.

    Jonã: Thanks for the info.

    Hey Paul,

Thanks for the link. Regarding “Get Out & Get Under The Moon”…I tabbed out the chords because I have a hard time remembering them from just the letter. If anyone want’s a copy email me at daniel-at-danielcoyne-dot-com.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
