Really enjoyed Elof & Wamberg – Øresundsreel, any chance you could tab the uke part pretty please?

  2. Woodshed September 3rd, 2012 12:24 pm

Sunny Jim: Sorry, not very likely I’m afraid.

Yes, I also was just blown away by the Elof & Wamberg. I can understand how tabbing that would be very difficult, but if you could offer any tips on how to get that sound it would be great! I must also thank you for your incredible work and website. I am a pilot with a lot of boring downtime and your website and my ukulele has seriously saved me! Huge fan! And thanks for you excellent e-books. Worth every penny.

Steve: Thanks very much! You’re very kind.

I’ll get in touch with Tobias (Elof) and see if he’s written the tune up. He studies music so it’s possible.

I noodled along with the Elof and Wamberg tune and I can tell you the first step is having the uke tuned up to D (ADF#B).

Thanks Woodshed and thanks for the tip Ukuleletim. The part that amazes me is the fast fingerpicking after the intro. It sounds like he is both strumming and fingerpicking at the same time!

I would love if you could cover “The Moon Is Made of Gold”. It would be amazing to be able to play that.

ukuleletim: If you ever write anything up, let me know.

Hannah: Yeah, I’ve been following them for a bit. They’ve definitely got potential.

Parker: Maybe, I do like the tune. No plans at the moment though.

Love LP and Mars Volta, so I was always gonnae be a sucker for that one. Really like Boombox Seance, I really need to get a loop pedal. The LeCLOU tune is lovely as well – really nice bass playing if that’s not a stupid thing to say on a ukulele blog…

Chris Q: Glad you enjoyed them. You’re welcome to comment on any instrument here!

lots of good stuff but I’m wild about Le CLOU and Boombox Seance for wildly disparate reasons.

Hey woodshed and ukulele Tim, any luck tracking down tabs for Tobias’s music? Dont want to let that one go!
