Eddie Vedder, Ali Ingle: UkeTube

New video from Eddie Vedder’s Ukulele Songs with a trip to the Kanile’a factory. There aren’t may people that can match vocals with Vedder but Ali Ingle sounds just as great. Also up this week are some Halloweeny videos from Craig Robertson and Holland Greco, ridiculousness from Sid Laverants and Walk off of the Earth continue their run of striking videos with an increasing budget and Ben Harper (not the one off of My Family).

    There’s another Ben Harper?

Youtube tells me that last video is private, so I can’t watch it.

Don’t know if I am the only one for whom the last video did not work, but in case there are other people, this one worked for me:

Always nice to see a Craig Robertson link, and the re-entrants vid is great too.
Is it just me, or does the #comments url not jump down to the comments? It gives me the same result as clicking the blog title…

Snojimbo: Well, there’s a real one and a fictional one.

JimUke: Thanks for the link. I think it was private for a while but it seems to be back now.

mictoboy: Hmm, that doesn’t seem to work for me either.

Eddie Vedder’s uke shure is purty, huh? Makes me want to give it all up and be a luthier.

Fine selection this week. I’d like to see the rest of the Holland Greco set, looks like a lot of fun. Ben Harper is brilliant, although completely ruined by the audience. I hate that out of time clapping thing people feel compelled to do. If he’d wanted drums, he’d have drums goddamit. People are idiots.

But Sid Laverants is something else; like early John Cage crossed with Spike Jones. Incredible.

Chris: I’m glad I’m not the only one who can’t stand audience participation!
