   Another fine selection, especially – to my ears – Skinny Lister. Have I missed the ukes on the Janelle Monae, or were its other obvious charms enough to make the list?

   Mark: They’re a very fun band. They have even better songs without ukuleles in!

   I’m pretty sure the first instrument you hear (doing a back and forth with a guitar) is a ukulele. It does get a bit lost in the mix as the song goes along though.

   I was very lucky to have been in 3 Skinny Lister videos, Colours was one of my favourites, watching Lorna on the plane was awesome,(i’m dressed very colourfully in it) check out rolling over too, maypole dancing in landrovers xx
