    10 ways to optimize…..
1 Do exercise in noisy places (mostly the same environment as ukulele gatherings)
2 Never use a pencil since you don’t read notes, use your memory instead! (Shame you if you part of those who can read notes!)
3 Switch off your technology app…..
4 Start intuitively without thinking to much before.
5 Practice the chaotic model. Great inventions have been made that way.
6 Don’t try to be smart, thinking can be a great barrier!
7 Always start at the beginning, you don’t play a piece like you are used to read a magazine.
8 Don’t make things to complicated, you will lose your time.
9 Always keep your uke with , doesn’t matter where you go!
10 keep smiling even if you didn’t got the time to touch your uke! :)

Herman: Excellent list! I agree with everything except the last one!

The book, Ukulele Player under the Red Lamp, has nothing to do with ukuleles. It does, however, have an interesting chapter on Roy Rene (an famous Australia Vaudevillian from the 1920s and 30s, who made a second career on the Radio). The books is a memoir of an Australia journalist turned gag writer. He attended a school in Scotland and did other things.

Well I did make the opposite statements then the list “10 ways to optimize your music practice” and it seems to fit also and surprised myself with it! So just “don’t listen to what your papa said” :)

Herman: Hahaha! I think I prefer your list!
