TRAIN is my favorite Familia song, Al. I believe
this is their debut on Uke Hunt, and if so, it’s a
good one.
I’ve associated the uke koto sound with Jake but
the Ukes do it quite nicely, as well.
Of course, Will, in GET PLUCKY, says “… his [Jake’s] ukulele no longer sounds like a ukulele, which seems a bit of a shame…”
A sentiment with which I concur.
Good to see B&H still at it. So many of the acts
around when I came aboard are gone. Or, slowed down considerably.
Some, of course, have become guitar acts. They know who they are.
And, shame…
What a truly magnificent playlist! Makes me proud to be a ukulele player, and inspires me to go further. Thank you so much, Al and Ron.
Al, do you know where I can get a good uke capo from, without paying the earth? Grateful for any advice.
