    Al,

Thanks for posting the link to our (the Halifax Ukulele Gang’s) newest songbook. And thank you for all of your song postings over the years. I know there are several songs in this collection that have benefited from the chords and tabs you have posted.

A lot of credit goes to BURP (the Berkhamsted Ukulele Random Players – http://www.hamishcurrie.me.uk/burp/songs.htm) who posted a great collection of songs that I was able to cannibalize to act as the seed for our songbook. They have a great site with lots of great songs. Check it out!

Also, there are some other great resources that make putting together a book like this even easier. The Chordette font set created by Uke Farm (http://www.ukefarm.com/chordette/) really simplify adding chords to song sheets. As well, the Ukulizer (http://www.ukulizer.com/) website was a great help in converting songs to ChordPro format and for changing key with the click of a button.

Once again, thanks for the shout out!

    Jonathan

How many songs (roughly) can you store in your head at one time ? Is there a limit to what we can do ?
Also is there anything that you play regularly ?

    Thanks.

Yellowfish: Not many! Those are interesting questions. I think I’m a bit different in this respect. Once I’ve got one tune down I put it on the blog and start working on the next one. So I don’t do much repertoire building.
