This is probably completely meaningless to anyone outside the UK (and largely meaningless to those in it). The Trivago woman is a ukulele player (and the skipping rope player it seems). Which means I have to switch allegiances away from the Trip Advisor owl who is too busy lounging in his robe to learn an instrument.

Thanks for the fun links Al. You’ve always got cool links I’d never find. Makes a nice Christmas gift, I think. The Trivago lady’s skipping seemed gimmicky until I realized she was tap dancing, so quite the talent to throw in some percussion. I’ll have to see if our Trivago guy has any musical talent.

Glenn: Thanks! Even the concept of a Trivago guy seems weird to me!

Haha, I had to look for a Trivago girl ad. Commercial structure is the same but seems wrong to me though. There’s actually a mashup of Trivago actors around the world. There are a lot of them!

Just checked and ours is a musician – Ted Williams Band – creative name, I know, music follows suit. Sadly not a uke player. And yet he still manages to seem so cool on TV. ;-)
