For fine ukulele playing you can’t go wrong with Welti!

Hey Woodshed I really like the song heartbeat by David’s Lyre it would be cool if you could work out the chords for that song because I lack the skills for that

    Fawlty! Love it!

I’m with both Herman and sanford.

I like the cognitive dissonance of David’s Lyre (apparently) playing left-handed in one video and right-handed in the other. Woke me right up.

Also never realized that Colin was from Barcelona. ;-)

Davids Lyre songs were lovely, he has a very pleasant voice. I also loved the fawlty towers theme tune, got to love that programme, absolute genius.

Herman: I’m really jealous of his technique.

john: It’s a possibility. I like his stuff.

    sanford: Me too.

Hobbit: I really want to make a granddaughter joke but I shall resist.

todd: He has plenty of style.

    Mae: Which one?

Foinnse: One of the best shows ever. Never much cared for the theme tune but that video made me reconsider.

Nice selection, Al. I see David’s Lyre resides at least part of the time in sunny Manchester… I wonder if we can get him on the podcast?

@woodshed Thanks for putting me on here. I’m a big fan of the site. I think my favorite this week is Wilfried Welti.

@todd I’m not sure which Todd you are but I like your style. thx.

What is a fair price for a Johah Kumalae Koa Uke from the 20’s, it needs some repair to the back due to the wood splitting and seperating around the edge… Somewhat minor from what I have been told. It has wooden tuning pegs and bridge. Case included and it is signed by what looks like class mates from “26” (i.e. 1926) Just curious…
