A couple more interesting videos from NAMM 2011. Epiphone are bringing out an official Les Paul ukulele but that guy is so annoying I’m already striking it from my want-list. Much more likeable are the Beloffs with their Flea banjo-uke and (from around 4:25) the solid-body electric Fluke.

People should realize that when they look at these nice old photographs or pose for their own photos. In the future the Jetsons will smile and shake their heads at those quaint late 20th – early 21st century ukers.

is the Mahalo yellow smiley-face with two soundholes doubling as eyes. Now there’s a company that takes art design seriously. Instant classic…

Oh my days! I’ve tried various banjo ukes and found them too heavy, too expensive, too twisted (second hand) or too tinny, but I want a Flea.
Well, that’s taken all the fun out of deciding which uke to buy this year!
