Gnarls Barkley – Crazy (Instrumental)(Tab)

Gnarls Barkley – Crazy (Tab)

I was halfway towards doing a version of the Patsy Cline Crazy when I heard Don Ross’s cover of the Gnarls Barkley Crazy and decided on that instead. Or maybe as well as; I might do both.

I play this one quite loosely – strumming when the mood takes me and messing around with the verses – so the tab shows the melody and the chords and you can strum as you see fit. It’s also worth hitting a few extra notes along with the melody to keep things going.

There are lots of rapidfire note sections which are quite tricky to play. You could pare these down a bit to make it easier to play and still recognisable.

wow amazing. I was obsessed with the Crazy chords posted on uker tabs and would play the song all the time. This arrangement is great and will keep me busy!

    Sounds great!

Only problem with this song is that people always get the lyrics wrong. Check out our version from last years Melbourne Ukulele Fest:

Through the din, you should be able to hear the words (“corrections” by Ginny Webb).

    Cheers,
    Stewart

You should still tab up the Patsy Cline song. Really.

Kelsey: I probably will. It should work well as a simple arrangement.

I saw Cee Lo Green in concert on Tuesday and he did this song as expected – Disappointingly without a uke though :D

Me, Lorraine and a few others played his more recent hit ‘Fuck You’ at a drunken jam session last night with a harmonica, 5 ukes and an accordian. What joy!

    Happy days!
